Or maybe the world is still and it’s just me who’s spinning? Either way, I’m getting dizzy.

It’s time to share my world again by answering questions provided by Mel C.

Do you ever see figures in your peripheral vision?đź‘»

Nope. What I do see are quick reflections of light at the end of my lenses when I turn my head. You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but I still look back every time to see what it is I…saw. I then find there was nothing there and that it was a reflection in my glasses. And then I feel dumb for falling for it…again.

Which urban legend scares you the most? (most countries have such stories – share yours if you would like to)  🦇

I honestly don’t even know any urban legends. If I did, however, I doubt any would scare me. I mean, they’re legends so the truth probably got lost in translation long ago as the story got passed on from generation to generation.

You’re home alone but you hear footsteps in your house, what do you do?

Nothing at all. This house is like 160 years old (I’m not kidding) and it makes noises all the time. It evidently has a lot to say.

GRATITUDE SECTION

What is your favorite season?

Fall/winter. I know that’s two seasons, but I love Fall for its willingness to tell summer we’ve had enough of its 90-degree weather and to go bite a curb. Summer is not my thing. I don’t like being hot and I can’t wear hoodies. I mean, I could, but that would just be stupid.

I love seeing leaves change color. I love how the brisk air clears the night sky so I can gaze at the stars. I love being just a bit chilly and then eating a bowl of chili to warm myself up. I love walking along the river in the brisk morning air, watching as vapor moves above the water like a spectre. I love being able to open the windows and let the cool air sweep through my house. Plus….football!

I enjoy winter, as well. Sure, it gets cold and we have to bundle up, but…snow! I love snow. I wish it would snow more often here, but in the last few years, we haven’t gotten much. I love seeing my breath materialize as I exhale. I love the solid gray of a winter ceiling. I love Christmas and New Year’s. I love snuggling under a warm blanket and watching a movie (or binge-watching something on Netflix).
