Welcome to day one of National Blog Posting Month – NaBloPoMo for short. I’ve accepted the NaBloPoMo challenge this year and am posting for Team CheerPeppers. We’re hot.
Coincidentally, this is also day one of my 30 Days & 30 Songs challenge. Because I planned it that way, I guess that means it’s not so coincidental. Oh, well. I figured this is a “two birds, one stone” kinda deal. I hope others will tag along on this journey with me. It’s not as epic a journey as crossing all of Middle Earth to cast a ring into the fires of Mount Doom, but hopefully, it’ll be at least as entertaining.
Today’s prompt is either a song from your childhood or a song you like with a color in the title.
I scrolled through my playlist looking for a song I like that has a color in the title, but, to my surprise, there were quite a lot more songs in my list with colors in their names than I thought there were.
White Balloons by Sick Puppies is the first song that came to mind when I read this prompt, so I guess that’s my “official” response, but I included some bonus content because I couldn’t narrow this answer down to just one. Hey, it’s my contest. I can break the rules if I wanna…

The Red – Chevelle
Fade to Black – Metallica
Crimson – Otherwise
Purple – Pop Evil
Black – Sevendust
Falling Inside the Black – Skillet
And that’s enough for now. I’m tired of scrolling through my music.

I love your Shinedown selection but am horrified that you’re not old enough to know Sister Golden Hair and Knights in White Satin. I feel a tad geriatric right now…lol
